Signature Label believes in maintaining a high level of quality in all aspects of our clients’ projects. That is why we have invested in building an in-house graphics and screen making department. This allows us to handle all the graphic prepress requirements of any project in-house. No need to trust another company with your graphics. With Signature Label, our customers know that they are investing in high quality products and exemplary customer service from start to finish.

Our graphics prepress department’s work begins as soon as we receive the customer supplied digital files. The first step is to prepare the files for screen printing. This process may include altering traps and bleeds, adding UPC codes, enhancing the line thickness to the minimum print size and setting registration points. After alternations are made and the graphics are ready for customer approval, the initial proofs are sent out for graphic approval. If any tweaks or additional alterations need to be made, we can handle that in-house. This is important to our customers because it means we can edit and resend the graphics for approval quickly so there are no delays in production. Once final graphics are approved, the decorating screens can be made.

To further support our advances in screen printing technology, Signature Label recently acquired a Luscher MultiDX Digital Imagesetter. Digital image setting replaces the traditional use of film in screen making. This system ensures significantly more accurate exposure control and improved image quality allowing for even finer detail in printing and repeatability.
